Emphasizing the integration of digital and data, the company adopted a fully digital KYC process, eliminating paper and relying on third-party data sources for underwriting. Initially viewed as an investment, this transition is now operational expenditure, maintaining system excellence. Aegon Life streamlined insurance applications to two interactions: digital form-filling and a physical medical exam. While still required, the company experiments with a more data-driven approach, considering policies based on a 15-second selfie and Aadhaar number, leveraging cloud, AI, and data analytics for customer-centric innovation.
